I received an email from BlogHer recently asking me if they could syndicate a specific post that I had written on Days with Dylan. I excitedly agreed - especially because of the particular post that they had chosen.

Great job Laurie! I just read it and it's really well written :) I get so angry reading what you have to go through sometimes. It's sad to see how people react. Stay strong and positive!
Congrats on being syndicated! And I'm glad they picked that one too! My heart still hurts for you and I hope you find someplace BOTH of your kids are welcomed.
...and I just read it because of that and thought it was simply lovely. What a great mom you are.
Think of it this way. The day care lady was right. It defnitely wouldn't be a good fit. What with her narrow minded, antiqated preconceive notions and all. There is another place out there. A wonderful, cheerful, nurtering, developmentally appropriate place that will not only accept Dylan, but applaud him and appreciate all that he has to offer. And he has alot! Shrug off anything less than that now and anytime something like this happens. Believe in cosmic justice and remember that they reap what they sow.
