I am a thirty-something, advocating mama to two of the best little kids on earth. I have recently gone through some big life changes and through this, feel as though I am actually finding my way. It may not look the way I had once envisioned, but somehow it feels just right.
Having a son with special needs, namely Down syndrome, has enriched my life in ways that I never could have imagined. Quite simply, my kids have made my life better. And because of Dylan, I am learning how to better advocate for children with special needs. I have begun obtaining my master's degree in Special Education and am aiming to work in this field as well.
