It's Time

Surgery time.
Here is a picture of Dylan's chest tonight - pre-surgery. We had just bathed him in that special antibacterial soap: Hibi-clense.

My mom will be here at the house with Cassidy and will update Dylan's blog when she can.

Take good care,
Laurie and Dylan

Laurie, Dylan is going into this surgery healthy and strong. I know Dylan is going to do great ~ , you are going to do great ~ and all of you will get through this. I can feel it.
I personally know that positive thoughts, loving and healing energies and prayers are very powerful, they will sustain Dylan and carry him through all. Connect with your infinitive love for Dylan, let the love you feel for him take over, connect with this powerful force within you, the immense love you feel for him that “literally hurts” and send it to him. It is important that during his surgery you reassure Dylan (mentally), as often as possible, that everything is fine, that you are with him and as soon as you can see him and touch him, continue to love him and keep reinforcing and reassuring him that is all well. Starting tonight let your days end and begin by sending lots of loving and healing energies to Dylan, every waking moment send him your love, before, during and after surgery, before going to sleep, in your dreams, keep that flow of healing energy going to him 24/7. Love is the only power on earth that truly heals. "Love bears all things, believe all things, hopes all things, endure all things".
God Bless you Dylan ~
Everything is going to be OK ~
I will be sending Dylan, you and all your family positive thoughts, loving energies and prayers of strength, healing and peace tonight, all day tomorrow and during recovery time. :)

Laurie,

May God wrap his arms of love around Dylan and you so that you will feel his presence and know that all will be well. Let his presence settle into your bones, and allow your souls to receive his strength.
May you remember the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May God guide Dylan and carry him through this surgery.
May God use his healing hands during and after surgery, leading the surgeon's and nurse's steps.
May Dylan's surgery be successful and his recovery a prompt one.
May you trust your highest power that you will be doing exactly what you are meant to be doing, using your courage and love to help Dylan in every possible way, in this healing journey.
May there be peace within you during these challenging times.
May Dylan continue to be healthier and stronger day after day ~

I will be sending Dylan, you and all your family positive thoughts, loving and healing energies and prayers of strength, healing and peace all day today and every day during recovery time. :)

It's almost 6:00 on Tuesday morning and I am thinking of you, Dave and your sweet baby boy. I'll be following your blog for updates throughout the day. I can't imagine the many emotions you must be feeling right now. But, soon, sweet Dylan's heart will be fixed, this day will be behind you and your family will be home together.
Thinking of you!

Hello form Dylan's Grammie,

Hopefully this will give you all an update,as this is the only way I can figure this out!! They had some unexpected news when they first started the surgery this morning. They found a P.A window, yet another cardiac defect. This put them behand as it took several hours to fix this before they started the regular surgery. Because he was on the heart/lung machine a long time,he is having problmes with fluid build up. They have inserted a chest tube that will hopefully help out. He is still considered "critical". Hopefully Laurie and Dave will get some sleep tonight as they are in a hotel across the street from the hospital. Thank you ALL for your prayers and thoughts. I will keep you updated the best I can,in between making play dough cookies and playing with Dora and Cassidy!!

Praying for Dylan’s full and quick recovery.
Thank you so much for the update Grammie!!!. I have checked your blog thousand times today.
My niece spent the first 3 months of her life with severe heart failure and then went into surgery not very strong and not very healthy. Her heart had multiple big holes, her surgery took about 8 hours and because of it she had excessive fluid built up, her case was considered “VERY critical” and she made it.
Dylan went into this surgery healthy and very strong, he is a very brave fighter and he will overcome this challenge.
Laurie, during trying times it is very important to take one moment at a time, one step at a time, one day at a time. Stay in the present, stray strong, calm and positive. Everything is going to be OK ~
May Dylan recovers fully and promptly and continue to be healthier and stronger day after day ~
I will continue to send Dylan, you and all your family positive thoughts, loving and healing energies and prayers of strength, healing and peace every day during recovery time. :)
