I stand corrected.

A week or so ago I wrote a post about Dylan's feeding struggles. I think I may have mentioned that he doesn't want anything to do with any kind of food that is not jarred baby food.

I stand corrected.

Apparently he is quite a fan of sand.

Now...if only I could find some gluten free solid food that looks, tastes and feels just like sand box sand, we'd be on to something...

Dang, I thought you were giving me hope on someday crossing baby food off my grocery list. But ah yes, Lindsey likes grass and mulch in addition to baby food. Hey at least we know it can't be a texture thing. Cute pictures of Dylan.

Sunshine (3 years old, also with DS and she has major feeding issues) also loves to eat sand. She hardly eats anything else but she loves sand! She took a huge bite of it one day in OT when she was supposed to be scooping it into a truck. The OT and I both just sat there in shock. LOL.

So funny. Right there with you sister. Sand, wood chips, rocks, dirt, grass, we've got it covered! God forbid Myles take a bite of cracker or something!

Too hilarious! I want to reach right through my computer and give that kid a squeeze. Man, is he cute! Leah's a great big fan of sand too. And I think mulch is gluten free. If you haven't tried it, apparently it's quite tasty as well. Grass too. Happy summer!
