The clouds have cleared...

See that big shiny bright thing up in the sky?

Whew. Finally. The sun is out and the clouds have parted, even if only for a day. Yes, it may be one degree out, but seeing the sun shining up there...I don't know. It just makes a difference, doesn't it?

Well, it has certainly helped our moods, that's for sure.
Even 'The Girl Who Frowns And Runs Away From the Camera Every Single Time She Sees It' stopped and smiled for me.

And Dylan...well. He's always in a good mood, so I guess that doesn't really count. But here he is being cute anyway. And as a side note - thank you for your support after yesterday's post. I was in a weird mood. My husband read it and said that I sounded "miserable". That wasn't my intention and that is certainly not the case. I was just having a less than wonderful day, that's all. I think it's ok to question things every now and then. To be honest, I wasn't even going to post it but figured, eh, this is where I am at today. May as well be honest about it.

adorable pictures :) I am with you, I NEED the sun! It is 3 degrees here (not counting the wind chill) but with the sun it doesn't seem all that bad. I have diagnosed myself with S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder)... I didn't think you sounded miserable yesterday - we all have those days, especially when it is cloudy and gray and spring is just too far away! Thank you for blogging, I love reading your posts and feeling like there are other people out there going through a very similar situation. As other people said yesterday, you really are helping with your blog :) Have a great weekend!

Love the pictures!!!. Dylan and Cassidy are GORGEOUS :).
I agree, question things every now and then is OK. I feel honesty is a beautiful quality, honoring your truth at any given moment is a loving act, no matter what that truth might be.
Laurie, my sister is a woman of few words, THANKS TO YOUR WRITING I can have an idea of how she could be feeling about certain things, what can be going through her mind and how I can best help her and our Michelle. Thank you so much for sharing your journey ~

You are definitely allowed to have a not-so-great day (all I ever seem to blog about are my not-so-great days!). I agree with you about the sun. Now if we could just totally get rid of the snow and the frigid temps, we'll be all set.

Great pictures. I'm glad things look brighter today. You're willingness to share your thoughts and feelings - the good and the bad, is a wonderful way of helping others feel less alone.
